WellBeing - Pick of the Week
Elyse D'Angelo (The Resilience Project App)
The Resilience Project and Hugh Van Cuylenburg are well know names in the well-being and mental health world. His books and journals are best sellers and he is known for working with some of the biggest names in sport. But did you know that there is also an APP for those who prefer a cheaper and digital version of his well-being journal. This app replicates the hard copy well-being journal that is founded on the three pillars - gratitude, empathy and mindfulness. For me is an easy, accessible way for me to check in daily and improve my mental well-being.
Did you know that research has shown that after 21 days of practicing gratitude you require your brain to look for the positive in the world đź§
Dan Andrew (ACES Nutrition - Alcohol and Hangovers)
“We all know some of the effects of alcohol, Australian culture of drinking and the toll it can have on performance and especially our mental health. But you’ll find like myself in this podcast, how you can drink wiser when drinking and some interesting facts around alcohol itself." - Dan Andrew
Josh McKenna (Ben Crowe -Resilience & Self Worth)
“I'm not much of a podcast person, but this one was awesome. Ben Crowe has worked with superstars like Ash Barty and Dustin Martin and in this two-part podcast he talks about your inner fan and your inner critic. It translates well to footy for resilience and self-worth. Hope you guys enjoy!” – Josh McKenna
