Who Are The Panthers?
The Mazenod Panthers cater for all people with an intellectual disability regardless of ability. We have two teams that play in the AFLVIC/Football Integration Development Association (AFLVIC/FIDA), in a competition of 16 clubs throughout Victoria. Games are played every second Sunday during the football season with finals during August. Training is held every Wednesday night 5-6:30 pm and Saturdays 10:30-11:30 am (reach out to the club if you'd like to come along).
The all-abilities environment enables all people to enjoy Aussie rules football. Our club vision is to create the best all-abilities footy experience which allows each player to become the best player they can be.
Success for our club is not necessarily by games won, but by the personal and athletic growth. This boosts their confidence and enables them to continue to pursue progress on and off the field.
If you or someone in your care is interested in playing for the Panthers, please do not hesitate to contact Phil Ryan - President on 0408 142 250 or email: panthers.president@mazenodfc.com.au
Note that potential players are more than welcome to join us at training on a “no obligation” basis.
